Freedom of Speech has been quite dead in Britain for some time now, where it's a crime to say anything if, homosexuality or special preference to certain religions over others doesn't sit right with you. Now that motherland of the English language is putting itself in the business of telling Political Parties what they may say and do, and further directly trying to close them down through fines. I don't agree with views that have racism at it's heart (yet these people of the BNP are not skin-heads but just wish to see Britain's heritage remain intact), however what's worst is disallowing 'Free' Discourse and Organization among the Citizens before their vote. That is only one thing: The Sprout of Dictatorship! What would Churchill have said about it, and those that sat in the subways sixty-nine years ago while the bombs dropped outside?

What's going on with Senator Bunning? Well, it might be a good thing if we had more independent minded Congressmen like him in Washington. I'm not saying it is a positive thing that the People are not able to get the additional Unemployment Benefit. I'm saying the total economy would be better if we had Congressmen that knew how to Balance the Budget. How do they think we can engage a new cost like Health Care Reform when we can't see an end to the red ink. We're going to have to Raise a tidy Sum ! Put an End to All Progressive and Regressive taxes. Proportional Taxes are the Answer to our nation's fiscal woes. Bring On the -Straight Flat-Tax NOW !!!

Shrink Military Expenditures

With our massive national deficit at this time, one fundamental way to manage costs and live within our means, is to bring our armed forces home. How many places do we have military personnel? I'm not talking about detachments to our embassies, those are ok. What really more do we need to defend, than our own real estate called the United States? The more we try to stick our foot in such places like the mid-east, we just get it stomped on! What's the Point? Do we really have to be 'Macho-Man' to the World? Let's get things right here at home now; Then we'll see clear enough to take the plank out of our brother's eye!

NEW MAJOR ISSUE FOR CITIZENS

I see the trend in American Politics with the election of Scott Brown as Senator in Massachusetts. In 2008 the nation as a whole turned away from the Republicans in light of their massive deficit spending to support the unpopular 'wars on terror'. In a microcosm of the mood of the nation today, Massachusetts has rejected the party they have backed for thirty years due to the new outrageous deficit spending of the Democratic Party in only one year. You'd think the Democrats would reel it in, if they are really for the 'little man', because when times get tough due to inflationary deficit spending, it is always the 'little man' that gets pinched first. The People are turning away from their normal issues to cross parties in an effort to send the message: 'Balance the Books'!
